Actias with Quantum Gate Operations
We’re excited to see researchers, Xinjian Ji at Peking University and Weijia Yang at Kyounggi University of South Korea, modifying Actias, creating a new version with the addition of quantum gate operations, adding a new dimension to how users engage with the application. Actias, our quantum synthesizer, is built for real-time experimentation at the intersection of music and quantum computing. At Moth, we are committed to developing tools and technology that advance computational creativity, and we are always encouraged to see others exploring this domain and building on top of our applications and research. By integrating quantum gates, this research expands creative control, unlocking new sonic possibilities for artists and researchers alike.
