Moth Gives Opening Remarks and Leads a Quantum Audio Workshop at SWRL Festival

A Festival of Sound, Science, and Innovation in Riga, Latvia

The recent festival in Riga, Latvia, celebrated the dynamic intersection of immersive sound and cutting-edge science, offering a unique exploration of how technology and creativity intertwine.

This year’s theme, A Laboratory of Entangled Space, showcased groundbreaking works inspired by quantum physics and machine learning. Among the highlights was the premiere of Moment States, an evocative piece composed by Moth Quantum’s Scientific Advisor, Eduardo Reck Miranda, using our generative music technology, Sphinx. The performance captivated the audience, demonstrating the potential of quantum computing in reshaping artistic expression.

Moth played a prominent role throughout the festival:

Opening Remarks: Our Co-Founder, Harry Kumar, set the stage with an inspiring address on the convergence of science, music, and quantum computing, emphasizing Moth’s commitment to empowering creatives with innovative tools. Hands-On Workshop: Quantum Software Engineer, Hari Shaji, led a well-attended workshop on Quantum Audio Production. Participants explored the principles of quantum sound design and gained practical experience with Moth’s cutting-edge software, discovering new ways to integrate quantum technology into audio production workflows.

The festival was an unforgettable experience, fostering dialogue between technologists, artists, and scientists. Moth is honored to have been part of such an inspiring event, and we look forward to continuing our journey at the frontier of quantum creativity.
