Moth's Research Team Expands
We’re excited to welcome three brilliant minds to our research team in Switzerland: Dr. João Ferreira, Dr. Pierre Fromholz, and Dr. Shreyan Chowdhury. Their expertise spans quantum applications, game development, hardware and software research, and AI-driven music systems—each bringing a unique perspective to our mission of shaping the future of creative quantum computing.
Dr. João Ferreira joins us as a Quantum Application Developer. With a PhD in quantum physics, João is the creator of |Hop>, a board game that makes quantum mechanics accessible through interactive gameplay. His expertise in quantum game development aligns seamlessly with Moth’s vision of making quantum technology more intuitive and impactful for creatives and developers alike.
Dr. Pierre Fromholz joins as a Research Scientist. Currently a PhD researcher in Physics and Quantum Technologies. With a deep understanding of both quantum hardware and software, Pierre brings invaluable technical depth as we push the boundaries of scalable, real-world quantum applications.
Dr. Shreyan Chowdhury joins as a Backend Engineer. With over seven years of experience in audio and machine learning, he completed his PhD at Johannes Kepler University, focusing on music machine learning systems. As the former CSO of Stealth Startup, he built tools for human-AI music co-creation, making him a perfect addition to Moth’s mission of building technology for the creative industries with quantum computing.
With their combined expertise, João, Pierre, and Shreyan are set to play a key role in driving Moth Quantum’s research and development forward. We can’t wait to see what we build together. Welcome to the team!
